I was a bit worried the grey would show dirt, but the rugged khaki sole hides mud really well after a sloppy run. The stable upper locked my heel in place without feeling stiff, which was a nice surprise.

Took these out on a muddy single track after rain and the upper kept my feet locked in place through every switchback. The outsole dug into loose gravel without skipping a beat, and they shed the muck better than I expected.

The sole grips surprisingly well on loose gravel and rocky climbs—I’ve taken them out four times now and never once felt my footing slip. The upper keeps my foot locked in tight even on steep descents, though I wish the grey colorway came in a lighter option for summer.
